It's fun to play "city girl" for a time.

I’ve been sharing pics of “my desk today” on my Facebook Page for a while now and figured I’d bring the tradition over here.

The view from “here” is my friend Mariza’s spare bedroom, and it’s pretty spectacular. We’re overlooking Parque da Independência in the Ipiranga neighbourhood of São Paulo, Brazil, where Dom Pedro I once proclaimed Brazil’s independence and Portugal’s rule.
