A Borderless Beginning: My e-Residency Journey
I can’t remember when I first took notice of Estonia’s e-Residency program but believe it was around 2018-2019. It felt like one of those “maybe someday” ideas—fascinating, but a little out there at the time. I needed to know it was real and really understand what incorporating in the EU would mean.
So I read everything I could. Attended the government-offered webinars. Looked for horror stories (and didn’t find any). And in 2021, I made the leap: I officially incorporated my business in Estonia.
Since then, I’ve launched a number of publications, streamlined the service side of my business, and reinvested into the business in ways I just couldn’t afford before—all from wherever I happened to be in the world at any given time.
That one decision opened doors to greater stability, more income streams, and a community of global entrepreneurs doing things differently.
