In Amore con il Lago Garda

Among the many places I have been fortunate enough to visit, Italy is near the top of my list. This shot was taken on the shores of Lake Garda, the people silhouetted against the backdrop of the rolling hills and the sun’s last burning rays of the day.

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy and so vast that it has waves lapping against the shoreline. This photo was taken on the south coast at Peschiera del Garda. I was fortunate enough to be working there on a photoshoot.

There are several beautiful villages to be explored within this area. Sirmione is a great example of Italian culture and architecture, nestled on the end of a peninsula. Access is only possible via one small road and it is full of boutique shops, restaurants, ice cream parlours and stunning buildings.

And of course, Venice is only a day trip away!
